2020 I was lost in the aisle of a drugstore, not knowing which product to buy next. At that time I had been struggling with acne and hair loss for over 2 years after going off the pill. I wasted countless products in the search of finding the one that might just work as advertised or recommended by friends.
I’m a scientist researching skin and hair. Still, I didn’t know how to deal with my condition. So, I started my own research.
In my free time next to working as a PhD student at the Medical University of Vienna, I read countless books and scientific papers, only to find out: that figuring out your skin care routine can be made easy if you only observe the changes in your skin and know the right ingredients to use.

I grew up in a world of film and fantasy which has accompanied me way into adulthood. Everything I know I have taught myself through rigorous studying and experimenting in the field during the past 7 years. I thrive in creating a visual experience that is thought provoking and lets you experience light and humanity in a new way.
Growing up I was extremely lucky in that I never struggled with acne or any sort of skin problem. When I went off birth control a couple of years ago that changed. Suddenly I had acne and irritated skin. I had to figure out how to get my skin back to normal. Luckily, I had my childhood friend Lini, who suffered a similar fate, to confide in and pick her brilliant brain about skin care.
Creating a platform where people are given the opportunity to improve not only their skin health but also their knowledge about skincare, is a great privilege and a responsibility which I take very seriously. I am looking forward to growing and learning even more as a part of the Foolproof team.
